How do I open the People list without first opening the Tools?
By using a simple "gesture shortcut" in the family view.
You can show the People list by pressing your finger anywhere inside the red boxes shown below and then dragging upward out of the box and removing your finger. In effect, a quick upward swipe that looks like you're drawing an "i" on the screen.
