Changes are not being saved in Reunion 8.

Here are four suggestions...

1. Repair permissions, as follows...
1. Quit Reunion
2. Choose Go > Utilities
3. Double-click the Disk Utility icon
4. Go to the First Aid section
5. Select your hard drive name on the left
6. Click the Repair Permissions button.
7. Try to add or change the information again.
2. Move the family file into the Home/Documents folder...
1. Close your family file (if it's open).
2. Using your Finder, locate the file on your hard drive. It's probably in Applications/Reunion 8 Folder/
3. Drag the file to your Documents folder.
4. Try to add or change the information again.
3. To see if the file is locked, select the family file in the Finder and choose File > Get Info. If the file is locked, you will see a check in the box beside "Locked" in the General section of the Info window. If the file is locked, simply click in that box to "uncheck" it.
4. To check the ownership and permissions, select the family file in the Finder and choose File -> Get Info. Then look near the bottom of the Info window for "Ownership & Permissions." It should indicate that you can "read & write."
